You have a character in your head. Perhaps a blurry silhouette, perhaps a precise idea. A moss fox? A crystal chimera? A celestial doe with plant horns?
At La Black Unicorn, each fursuit is a handcrafted creation, born from an encounter between your inner world and my hands. My style? A blend of toony manga and natural elements—animals, plants, minerals—to invent hybrid beings, tender or mischievous, sometimes lunar, always unique.

I offer several types of custom creations, depending on your project, your budget and your comfort.
Each head is hand-sculpted from ultra-lightweight foam (less than 1 kg), covered in premium fur, with a breathable inner lining for optimal comfort.
Large 3D mesh eyes provide natural and comfortable vision, even with glasses.
Expressive eyelids, removable tongue, movable ears, horns, jewelry… everything can be modulated to reveal the unique personality of your creature.
This format includes the head + a pair of custom gloves (4 fingers / pads / claws or hooves / bird feet with dewclaws).
The tail is tailor-made: long, medium or short, bushy or shaved, light and fluid in its movements.
This mini partial is perfect for those who want to embody their character without wearing a full costume.
Wings and accessories available as options.
Includes all the elements of the Mini-Partial, plus a pair of digitigrade boots (realistic animal shape), with finishes adapted to your OC: hooves, pads, claws, etc.
The thick soles are designed to be waterproof, non-slip and durable.
This format allows for greater immersion while remaining comfortable and practical for travel.

This full custom costume includes: expressive head, gloves, belted tail, sculpted digitigrade boots, and padded thigh and calf jumpsuit to create an animal-like gait true to your OC.
The suit can be designed in one or two pieces (body + arms + legs), with invisible closure and ergonomic cut.
Wings, horns, LEDs, and other elements can enhance the outfit. Every detail is designed to reflect your character's inner world—accurately, comfortably, and poetically.
Comfortable and expressive, the cosplay fullsuit is designed for those who like to change their OC depending on the location or scene: conventions, photoshoots, performances, etc.
It includes the entire costume with the option to add custom clothing, light armor, themed accessories or light effects.

I begin by (re)designing the OC sheet in my style and our volumes. The fur, felt, and fabric materials are ordered. Our patterns are revised and adapted to your measurements. For fullsuits, we create a custom-made flexible mannequin that will replace you for fittings in our workshop.
Once the materials are received (2 months for some furs), the foam head is sculpted, the 3D eyes are printed, the fur is cut, and the long and meticulous hand and machine assembly of the elements can then begin. You will be able to follow all the steps on a Google Photos space dedicated to your project. We will have questions and validations with you, throughout the process.
Once your fursuit is finished, we take photos and videos of it from all angles and in context. We prepare the package, handle customs formalities, and send you a tracking link from the carrier while you wait for it to arrive at your home.
